Emergency or disruption information for Council colleagues

Please keep safe - consider your travel arrangements. Speak with your manager as soon as possible if you think you may need to leave your place of work early or arrive later.

Your manager may be able to support you by allowing you to:

  • if your job allows it, work from home. If you usually don't work from home, your manager will let you know if there are any changes to your usual working routine.
  • report to an alternative workplace - if appropriate
  • re-arrange your shift pattern or working hours to allow some flexibility in attendance times
  • take annual leave, unpaid leave, or time due back.
